Rewards and Punishments

Unless otherwise indicated, the following rewards and punishments are meted only by the Chat Moderator, and are for exemplary behavior as a partiicpant in NCCI, or for infractions of Novell's chat forum rules, as the case may be. Since Novell has graciously provided the chat forum, we all do our best to insure that there are more of the former meted, than the latter, overall.

Gold Star	The [Thwack] The [THWACK] is automatic for breaking any of the forum rules, as delineated in the Novell Forums FAQ, Novell Chat Forum Rules.

SysOp Punishment at Will	Participant Punishment at Will
The [Splat] The [SPLAT] is discretionary, and is dispensed when the moderating SysOp feels like it. It can be various colors and land on various places of the body, though usually aimed right between the eyes. The [SPLAT] material is a concoction of sugar icing and food coloring, so is non-toxic and completely washable.	The [THWAP] The [THWAP] is discretionary, and is dispensed when the participant feels like it. Its effect is somewhat akin to a small flock of birds flapping at one's head. It can never be directed against the moderating SysOp, because she said so.
